How Can severe Dysuria Along With Bladder Pain Be Treated?
Hi, What does the presence of amorphus urate crystals and uric acid in urine means. I don t have an infection but i suffer from dysuria, kidney and bladder pain and frequent, small amount urination for some time. Also density is slightly greater ( normal up to 1025, mine being 1026). Scans haven t shown a stone. Thank you!
Hello Dear. Amorphous crystals and uric acid may be seen in conditions where urine becomes concentrated may be due to dehydration. It can also occur due to intake of drugs like sulphadiazine, acyclovir, triamterene, piridox- ylate, primidone, which under the influence of various factors can crystallize within the urinary system.
I advice you to drink lots of water about 3 litres a day. Also drink tender coconut water, fruit juice etc. This will make urine very clear.
You can also take syrup citralka or alkasol which will make urine alkaline and stops the formation of crystals. You can take this syrup 5ml three times a day.
You can also get an ultrasound scan to see for urinary stones if the problem still persists.
Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you. All the best With warm regards Dr Sanjay Kini
